Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hm Holdings LLC

September 20009 - December 2020

Founded and led a real estate development and finance company with multiple properties and jurisdictions.

• Acquired insolvent resort development in Williamsburg, Virginia earning profits within 1 year, increasing unit inventory by 500% to150 units, and retiring all debt from prior ownership within 5 years
• Acquired and repurposed a failed 250-unit condominium development in South Mountain, Arizona
• Generated over $150M in revenue
• Retired over $30M in acquisition debt and other long-term liabilities
• Created human resource infrastructure of 200-plus persons developing all compliance policies for multiple jurisdictions
• Successfully concluded 5 EEOC mediation processes and 2 Department of Labor suits without penalty or settlement addressing actions and policies of prior management
• Eliminated an inherited $25M, 1000 person class-action lawsuit without settlement
• Produced complex multi-million-dollar, multiple location budgets that regularly achieved target revenue and expense projections
• Oversaw mortgage portfolios that exceeded $100M with less than 0.20% write-off and delinquency percentages below 5%
• Rejuvenated an inherited portfolio of $20M reducing a 25% delinquency rate to less than 1%
• Oversaw and developed all sales, marketing and operational infrastructures including customer service, accounting, collections, information technology, and human resources

Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations of Land'or International, Inc.

April 1998 - October 2009

Directed operations for international resort developer headquartered in Richmond, Virginia overseeing the financial, human resources, customer service and information technology departments in addition to devising and delivering sales and marketing strategies.

• Developed human resource policies and procedures for stateside and international employees

• Developed new benefits packages for all stateside employees

• Served as primary participant and collective bargaining agreement negotiator with international employees' union

• Successfully oversaw both accounting and CRM software migrations

• Oversaw the production of monthly internal financials and the completion of externally audited financials

• Facilitated the acquisition of two additional resort properties by individually producing comprehensive prospectuses including detailed budgets and projections for 10 years, designing integration plans, operational plans and sales and marketing strategies

• Responsible for the oversight of portfolios valued in excess of $25M and the hypothecation of deed paper exceeding $20M.
